Melissa is a seasoned corporate marketing leader with more than 20 years of experience driving customer advocacy, elevating brand storytelling, and accelerating growth for B2B technology companies. As VP of Corporate Marketing at Sumo Logic, she has built and scaled global programs that bring customer voices to the center of the brand—launching initiatives such as the Sumo Superheroes customer advocacy program, the Sumie Awards to spotlight customer innovation, and Customer Advisory Board events that strengthen executive relationships and shape product direction. Melissa also guided Sumo Logic through its milestone IPO in 2020 and subsequent private equity acquisition, building and scaling global communications, analyst relations, brand strategy, and social media programs along the way. Prior to Sumo Logic, Melissa held communications leadership roles at Qualys and Dell and began her career in the agency world with Offleash PR and Weber Shandwick. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism from Emerson College.
