Making customer marketing make sense: How to launch, land, and lead the function internally
In the chaotic scale-up world, strategy often changes faster than team structures. If we’re not proactive, our function risks becoming misaligned, undervalued, or reduced to a purely tactical task list. I’ll share my lived experience repositioning a team for impact and protecting its strategic focus amidst constant change. The core idea: leaders don’t always need (or get) new resources, the real skill is making the most of what we already have. In fast-moving environments, focus is a resource, and we should treat it like a budget, spending it where it drives the most value. It ties directly into ā€œdoing more with less,ā€ but with a strategic spin that I think will resonate with an experienced audience.
