Mike Valanzola leads the Voice of Customer (VoC) organization at Dell Technologies. VoC is focused on
building pathways to predictive and personalized customer understanding, identifying improvements
to customer facing operations, and driving systemic remediation of customer challenges. Mike has
more than fifteen total years of service with Dell Technologies, having previously held various sales
management and customer advocacy roles.
Since FY23, the organization has achieved Bain NPSx ℠ CX certification, expanded the Competitive
industry benchmarking program, and procured best-in-class experience management technology for
increased automation and AI capabilities. Additionally, Mike has championed the integration of
strategic insights data into core operational systems to enable robust customer support.
Formerly, Mike served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Executive Office of Energy and
Environmental Affairs at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He had direct responsibility for the
business functions of the Secretariat including oversight of talent and labor management, facilities and
operations, Information Technology (IT), and finance.
Mike earned his B. A. from Emmanuel College and a Finance certificate from Babson College. He is
active in public service in Hampden County, MA where he currently serves as the Wales Town
Moderator, Clerk of the Wales Board of Selectmen, and Chairman of the Tantasqua Regional School
District.
